A Support file can be downloaded from the instrument and is used to assist you in the best possible manner. There are two options for downloading the file:
Nortek deployment
A Support File can be downloaded via the software to help resolve both instrument-specific issues and potential software bugs. This file includes Instrument logs as well as Software logs, which are essential for effective troubleshooting and enable the Support team to assist you in the most efficient way possible.
How to download the support file:
- Connect to the instrument using the Nortek Deployment software.
- Go to Support > Get Support Files
- Select the output folder and click 'save'
- The software will generate and save a .zip file which can then be shared with Nortek Support.
Web interface
- Use the Plug and Play feature to find the IP address for the system.
- Copy the IP address and paste it into your browser.
- Under the “Maintenance” tab, select Retrieve Support File.
- Find the NortekSupport_....tar.gz under Downloads on your PC and send it to Nortek.
