The primary way to communicate with your Vector is through the instrument-specific deployment software. The software is available free of charge, and can be downloaded from our software webpage.
The software provides the quickest and easiest way to perform tasks such as:
- Configuring and starting a new deployment
- Stopping a deployment and downloading data from the recorder
- Converting raw data to ASCII files
- Performing a function test of the instrument
- Calibrating the compass and setting a pressure offset
- Updating the instrument firmware
