Performance improvement for ADCPs on surface buoys (2019)

Presents data integrating the Attitude and Heading Reference Sensors (AHRS) into Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers (ADCP). Recent technological advances in miniature gyro-compensated motion sensors improved accuracy, resolution, reduction in physical size, power consumption, and cost addresses compared to earlier surface buoy-mounted ADCPs.
