Below you can find detailed information on the individual items that you receive with the Signature.
Instrument
The picture shows a Siganture 1000 with the different main parts highlighted. The design of your specific instrument will vary depending on which version of the Signature you have purchased.
Cables
The Signature instrument is always delivered with an Ethernet cable. The Ethernet connection serves as the main communication interface. The instrument can also be ordered to support serial communication. The instrument will then also be delivered with a serial cable.
The serial cable delivered with teh Siganture can be used both for RS232 and RS422 communication. The Signature is by default using RS232 as the serial communication protocol and is delivered with an RS232 converter. An additional RS422 converter may be ordered with the instrument. For instructions on how to change the serial communication protocol see the following article: How can I change the communication protocol from RS232 to RS422 on my Signature?
