This guide presents recommended laboratory setup practices for the Nortek Generation 2 Vector, based on internal testing and user experience. It provides guidance on instrument deployment, including the minimum distance to boundaries and the influence of different bed types on measurements. We also compare measurements collected with a Vectrino and a Generation 2 Vector under identical flume conditions, and present Echosounder results that can be used to assess boundary proximity and optimize instrument placement.
