How do I set up the MOXA Uport converter for RS422 (for Signature)?
- Connect the device to the USB port
- Open the Device Manager
- Find the “Multi-port serial adapters > UPort 1150
- Open Properties
- Check that the interface option is the correct one. If Not, select Port Settings > Interface and select the correct interface:
If you need to change the configuration of the instrument, send the following commands:
SETINST,RS=422
SAVE,INST
This will change the serial protocol used by the Signature to RS422 and save the settings. Refer to the Integrators Guide – Signature for more details about this.
