The maximum supported velocity is 3 m/s nominally for the Vectrino Profiler. Note that the actual limiting velocity occurs in the beam coordinate measurements. If the beam ambiguity velocity (which is ~1/4 that of the indicated maximum horizontal velocity given the probe geometry) is exceeded (e.g. due to local eddies within the flow), then velocity wrapping may be seen at lower horizontal velocities.
