If you are having problems converting data from binary to ASCII, check the start and stop times and dates for the conversion. If, for example, the start time and date is later than the stop time and date, no data will be converted. This can occasionally happen when there is some slight file corruption.
Another problem may be that the size of your converted .dat file exceeds 2 GB. The midlife software can occasionally have problems with converting a .dat file of this size. A workaround is to convert the file in smaller chunks (using the from-to time boxes) and then join the converted files in a cmd window using the copy command.
