    Hello Cristobal

In general, no.  The buoys should not have any dents due to pressure provided the buoy has never gone beyond its depth rating of 50 m.  However, it's hard to be certain because there are many other factors involved, including how "small" the dents really are.  So to be sure, is it possible for you to send some high resolution photos of the dents?  You can add them right here in the Forum.

Please do note that both the Eco buoy as well as the Release buoy are foam-filled.  This means that even if the buoys a puncture hole (or have small dents), they will not sink.

    Hello Cristobal

Thank you for sending the photos.  These dents are very small and originate from an irregular foam filling inside the buoy.  However, these dents will not impact performance or buoyancy of the Eco buoy.  In other words, they are cosmetic issues and it is perfectly safe for you to continue using the buoy as they are.

But in any case, Nortek is committed to excellence in our products and we're continuing seeking ways to improve, so we appreciate you sharing this.  We are evaluating our manufacturing process to see if there's any improvement as part of the filling process to minimize this in the future, but as mentioned, it is safe to continue using these buoys as they are.

Thanks again for the photos and good luck with your future Eco deployments.
