How eco works at low temperatures

Hi Nortek, how eco works at low temperatures, for example, if you install it in sea water at a temperature of -1.5C degrees, and remove it with a top at an ambient temperature of -30C. Can temperatures adversely affect data quality or damage measurement equipment?

Plans to integrate options in the future into the eco product, such as current profile measurements down-looking, wave measurement?

  Below you'll find the operating and storage temperature ranges for the Eco, taken from the instrument's online page (https://www.nortekgroup.com/products/eco).  The Eco has not been validated for operation beyond these limits.  In your deployment, therefore, we would recommend you keep it within these limits.

  

  And as far as expanding further capabilities such as downlooking operations and wave measurements, presently there are no plans for that, although we should "never say never" :-)  Until then, Nortek offers a wide range of systems that include down-looking operations, wave measurements and much more! https://www.nortekgroup.com/products
