NEW FEATURE

Multifrequency echsounder functionality is now available for the Siganture 1000, allowing the echsounder to use frequencies of 250 and 500 kHz in addition to 1000 kHz. The functionality requires a license. For more information please contact your local Nortek sales representative.

NEW FEATURES

  • Observation of Infragravity waves is now supported for the Signature 1000 and Signature 500.  Please see this article: How can I measure Infragravity waves with my Signature? for further details on the configuration of the instrument as well as data processing. 
  • 3D calibration is now supported in the software. For details about compass calibration, please refer to our article Compass calibration
15.04.2026

A new firmware version has been released (2217_7): Nortek | Nortek Software

⚠ Update required! All users are recommended to update to the latest firmware version to ensure optimal performance. For some instruments, a 3D calibration will be required after the firmware update to ensure correct heading and direction measurements.
